You probably know that you can look up your home’s (or your neighbor’s) property tax valuation on the Douglas County Assessor’s web page. This is one of my wife’s favorite pasttimes.
You probably didn’t know that you can also access surveys and plats. Why would you want to? How about reading the original surveyor’s plat for Dundee Place from 1881? Or Happy Hollow?
Go to the Douglas County Engineers plat search. The easiest way to search is by entering the Subdivision name. The names of subdivisions in the Dundee area are Dundee Place, Happy Hollow, Carthage, and Country Club.
