Dundee Hardware Customers: Thank you for 15 great years!

Our Family and Staff appreciate your past support and patronage, however, we must finally announce the CLOSING of Dundee Hardware Plus.

As a thank you for supporting us through the years, print this page and bring it to the store for an additional discount off most everything. This offer is only available to you, our former customers and examples of your special discounts are as follows:

35% off all “Hardware Store” merchandise
(Even if already marked down)
10% off ALL small engine equipment
15% off ALL remaining spa floor models
20% off “wet spa” floor model
50% off ALL fertilizer and select “outdoor-living” items
80% off Christmas and seasonal
20% off reconditioned small engine equipment

All store fixtures and equipment are also for sale.workbenches, garage and basement shelving, used computers.and an unbelievable quantity of used tools and equipment from our shops.

When we announced our closing back in November, many of you asked if there was any way you could help. When we moved across the street six years ago, many of you came in, filled up shopping carts and helped us move all our inventory to our new location.

You can help now by filling those same shopping carts again and taking this stuff home. Most items are below our cost. You can save money and help us empty this store at the same time. Much of our remaining inventory will be returned to vendors in the next week or two, so this is a very limited time offer.

We still accept cash, check or credit cards and we will be happy to deliver large orders.

Our liquidation hours have changed to:
Monday through Friday 9-6
Saturday 8-5
Sunday 10-5

Steve, Karen, Tina and Bryan Schrader and our entire Crew thank you.

Blogger’s Note: This is the latest news, as of Monday, January 21st. There has been a lot of rumors, speculation, and misleading stories in the past 3 months. I truly believe Steve & Karen gave it their best shot to stay open.

It has been a great convenience to have Dundee Hardware in the neighborhood. I can’t count the number of times I’ve walked down to buy the essentials for old home owners: wax toilet ring, bag of screws, weatherstripping, etc. Their services to repair screens, windows, and lawnmowers will also be missed. Although I shopped there whenever possible, I was a small ticket item buyer. We did buy our daughter’s Radio Flyer wagon at the store, because we wanted to keep our dollars in the neighborhood as much as possible.

Steve & Karen have given so much of their time, energy and money to Dundee. What will we do without them?

I’m disappointed, as well. I join countless neighbors who wish the family well with thanks for their monumental contribution to Dundee…we’ll all sorely miss this landmark “convenience.” Sunday, my son was installing speakers in Dad’s car and they couldn’t find the screwdriver that’d fit in the tight little space - it was a reflex action - hop in the car, buzz over to Dundee Hardware and get back in 10 minutes to finish up the job.

I’ll tell everyone I know about the sale.
