Buildings earn landmark status

North Omaha’s Star Building and midtown’s Dr. A.B. Pittman Veterinarian Building are being honored with landmark status.
The Omaha City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve the landmark designations, which bring with them eligibility for tax incentives to restore the properties.
